Bookkeeping for established businesses that have outgrown doing it themselves
Thoughtful bookkeeping. Clear financials. A trusted partner behind the numbers.
Simply Numbers gives service businesses and agencies doing $500k–$5M the clean books and clear reporting they need to make confident decisions — without hiring in-house.
No pressure and no obligation. We will look at where your books stand and whether we are the right fit.
Boutique by design • Led by an accountant with an MBA • 10+ years in public accounting and tech startups • A deliberately small client roster
This is for you if your business has outgrown DIY bookkeeping
You run an established service business or agency — roughly $500k to $5M in revenue — and the financial side has got more complex than a spreadsheet, a shoebox, or an hour here and there on weekends.
You might recognize this:
• Your books are behind, messy, or only "done" at tax time
• You do not fully trust the numbers in your reports
• You are making pricing, hiring, and spending decisions without clear cash-flow visibility
• Your CPA keeps asking for cleaner books
• You want someone who knows your business — not a faceless service or a rotating call center
If that sounds familiar, you are exactly who Simply Numbers was built for.
Not the right fit: brand-new businesses, businesses under $500k still doing their own books comfortably, or anyone looking for the cheapest bookkeeper available. If we are not the right fit, I will tell you honestly on our call and point you in a better direction.
Know where your business stands — every month
Good bookkeeping is not a pile of reconciled transactions. It is knowing, every month, whether you made money, where it went, and what is coming next.
With Simply Numbers, you get books that are current and accurate, reports you can actually read, and a person who will walk through them with you and explain what they mean for your next decision. So tax time stops being a scramble, lenders and partners get answers quickly, and you stop guessing.
Choose the level of support your business needs
Every package starts with accurate, up-to-date books. The difference is how much insight and partnership you want on top of them. All packages are monthly, with no hourly billing to watch.
Essential — from $750/month
For established businesses that need their books handled properly, every month.
Your bookkeeping is done, your accounts are reconciled, and you receive clear monthly reports you can trust. You stop carrying the books in the back of your mind — and you always know where you stand.
Growth — from $1,500/month • Most popular
For owners who want more than clean books — they want to understand them.
Everything in Essential, plus a quarterly review call to walk through your numbers together and cash-flow insights that flag what is coming before it becomes a problem. This is where bookkeeping starts improving decisions, not just recording them.
Partner — from $2,500/month
For owners who want a finance partner, not just a bookkeeper.
Everything in Growth, plus a monthly strategy session, budgeting support, and a simple KPI dashboard built around the numbers that matter in your business. You get a thought partner who knows your financials in detail — at a fraction of the cost of hiring in-house.
Not sure which level you need? That is exactly what the free financial review is for. We will recommend the smallest package that genuinely solves your problem — including if that is "you do not need us yet."
Final pricing depends on transaction volume and complexity and is confirmed in writing after your review call. No surprises, and no hourly meter running.
Behind on your books? Start with a cleanup.
If your books are months behind, tangled, or you are embarrassed to show them to your CPA, you are not alone — and it is fixable.
A Books Cleanup brings everything current and accurate: transactions categorized, accounts reconciled, errors corrected, and a clean set of reports you can hand to your CPA, lender, or partner with confidence.
One-time project: $1,500–$3,000, quoted in advance based on how many months need work and the condition of the books.
Most cleanup clients then move onto a monthly package, so the books never fall behind again. If yours are simply behind — start here.
Mention “cleanup” when you book.
How it works
Step 1 — Book a free 30-minute financial review
We talk through your business, where your books stand, and what you actually need. You get an honest recommendation and a fixed quote — whether or not we end up working together.
Step 2 — Cleanup and onboarding
If your books need catching up, we start with a cleanup. Then I set up your monthly rhythm, connect your accounts, and agree exactly what you will receive and when.
Step 3 — Your monthly rhythm
Your books are closed and reconciled every month. You receive clear reports, and on Growth and Partner packages we review them together on a regular call. You always know the state of your numbers — and who to ask about them.
Meet Taylor — the person behind your numbers
I am Taylor, founder of Simply Numbers LLC.
I hold a Bachelor's in Accounting and an MBA from Middle Tennessee State University, and I have spent 10+ years in public accounting and tech startup management. I have seen, from the inside, how much better owners run their businesses when they actually trust their numbers.
Simply Numbers is intentionally boutique. I keep my client roster small so I know every client's business properly — you will work with me, not be handed off to whoever is available. Thoughtful bookkeeping, a real relationship, and numbers you can act on.
“Taylor is a breath of fresh air.
She’s attentive, detailed, strategic, and highly efficient... Taylor truly relieves so much stress and responsibility from my plate.”

Frequently asked questions
-
Because doing this properly takes accountant-level judgement, not data entry. At $750, your books are handled by an experienced accountant who knows your business, reconciles everything monthly, and produces reports you can rely on for tax, lending, and real decisions. Cheaper bookkeeping usually means rushed, impersonal work that costs more to fix later — often in a cleanup. If your business is doing $500k or more, accurate books are not an admin cost; they are how you avoid expensive mistakes.
-
Neither. Behind and messy is the most common starting point I see. We start with a one-time Books Cleanup ($1,500–$3,000, quoted in advance), get you completely current, and then a monthly package keeps you there. No judgement — just a plan.

Most established service businesses start on Growth. Essential suits businesses that mainly need reliable books off their plate. Partner suits owners who want regular strategy, budgeting, and KPIs. If you are unsure, book the free review — I will recommend the smallest package that solves your problem.
-
No — I make your CPA's job easier. You get clean, reconciled books and reports your CPA can work from at year-end, which usually means a smoother (and cheaper) tax season. I am happy to work directly with your CPA.
-
Occasionally, if it is a genuine fit. My packages are built for established businesses, roughly $500k–$5M. If you are earlier than that, the free review is still worth booking — I will be honest if a simpler solution serves you better right now.
-
We look at where your books stand, talk through what is and is not working, and I give you a clear recommendation and a fixed quote. There is no pressure to sign up, and the call is with me — not a salesperson.

Packages are monthly. The relationship works because clients see the value month to month — not because they are locked in. Any specific terms are confirmed in writing before we start.
